Our General Perspective:

1. Emphasis on the positive and everyday; over the negative and unusual. — For example, you may hear from us “divine masculinity”… or just “masculinity”… more than anything about “toxicity.” (— Likewise, you may hear us say “divine femininity” or just “femininity” more than any narrow, overly pessimistic views about women.)

2. Any given man’s issue might be addressed via responsibility at the individual level; and/or by changing the situations and systems that shape his world for better or worse. (Side note: situations / systems are unique and complex, and are not usually easily or best summed up by a broad term like “patriarchy.” )

3. We support men of all kinds, in all kinds of contexts. (We err on the side of inclusivity.)

We believe in… being open-minded to those who think differently than us; …good-faith erring on the side of interpreting the meaning behind things, in a way that is generous rather than overly suspicious or critical; …and resisting all-or-nothing thinking (knowing that individuals, and groups, and ideas, are often complex).
